Griffin Thomas brings over a decade of hands‑on pest control expertise to every job—backed by a multi-generational legacy in the industry. He began his career under the mentorship of his grandfather, who owned and operated a reputable pest control business in the Midwest for over 30 years. That early exposure instilled in Griffin the importance of integrity, consistency, and deeply personal customer care.
Griffin’s professional journey includes working for some of the largest, most respected pest control brands in the nation—gaining insight into everything from advanced treatment techniques to large-scale operational protocols. He eventually founded Preferred Pest Management to apply that knowledge locally, in a more community-focused, transparent, and customer-first way.

Vice President & Head of Service – Eric Pope
Eric Pope brings a decade of industry experience to his role as Vice President and Head of Service at Preferred Pest Management. His journey in pest control began alongside his cousin Griffin, under the mentorship of their grandfather — the owner of a well-respected Midwest pest control business for over 30 years. Growing up in that hands-on environment shaped Eric’s deep respect for professionalism, integrity, and customer care.
After gaining extensive experience in the field, Eric launched his own business, Preferred Pest and Lawn, in Columbia, Missouri. There, he not only provided exceptional structural pest control services for approximately five years, but built a vertically integrated operation that combined pest control with weed and fertilizer services — offering clients an elevated, all-in-one solution for property protection and landscape health.
In early 2025, Eric relocated to Texas to join forces with Griffin and bring his expertise to Preferred Pest Management. As Head of Service, he leads training, oversees operations, and ensures every treatment is delivered to state licensing standards.
