Privacy policy

How Preferred Pest Management collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website or contact our team.

Effective October 17, 2026

This policy applies to Preferred Pest Management (“we,” “us,” and “our”) and preferredpestmanagement.org.

Information we collect

When you request a quote, contact our team, become a customer, or use our customer portal, we collect the information you provide. This can include your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, service address, pest concerns, service history, and messages or other details needed to respond and provide service.

If you apply for a job through our website, we collect the contact information, address, employment preferences, résumé, and other application information you choose to submit. Please do not put payment-card details, Social Security numbers, or unrelated sensitive information into our general quote or contact forms.

Our website and its service providers can also collect technical information, including IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referring pages, approximate location, interactions with the site, and advertising or campaign identifiers. Forms can retain the page and campaign information associated with a request so we can understand how you found us.

We record telephone calls with our team. Recordings may include your contact information, service requests, and other information you share during the call. We also use call tracking to understand how people find our business. Contact us if you have questions about a recording or prefer to communicate by email.

How we use information

  • Respond to questions and quote requests, arrange service, and communicate about your account.
  • Provide and manage pest-control services, customer records, and the customer portal.
  • Send service updates and marketing emails or text messages, subject to your choices and applicable consent requirements.
  • Review job applications and communicate with applicants.
  • Understand website use and advertising results, improve our website and services, and help prevent spam, fraud, and misuse.
  • Maintain business records, handle disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Marketing texts and emails

Preferred Pest Management sends marketing texts and emails. You can ask us to stop marketing communications at any time. For marketing texts, use the opt-out instructions in the message or reply STOP to the sending number. For marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in the message. You can also contact us at support@preferredpestmanagement.org or 214-978-3877 for help with either preference.

Text-message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. This privacy policy does not itself provide consent to receive marketing texts. You can request a quote without agreeing to marketing messages. Opting out of marketing does not automatically cancel an existing service agreement or stop necessary service or account communications.

How information is shared

We do not sell or rent customer or contact lists to other businesses.

We use service providers to operate the website, host and store information, process forms, deliver email and texts, manage customer communications, provide call tracking, measure advertising, and protect against abuse. They receive the information needed for those services. Depending on the feature you use, providers include website hosting and form services, GorillaDesk customer tools, CallRail, Google services, and Meta/Facebook advertising tools.

Website activity, device information, cookie identifiers, and campaign information may be shared with analytics and advertising providers for measurement and personalized advertising. These providers may also process information under their own privacy policies. This advertising-related sharing is separate from selling or renting a customer contact list.

Information may also be disclosed when needed to comply with law or legal process, protect people or property, investigate misuse, or carry out a business transfer such as a merger or sale. We may share information when you ask us to do so.

Cookies, advertising, and embedded services

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies for website functions, security, analytics, call attribution, and advertising measurement. Google Tag Manager helps load website tags. Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta/Facebook tools can receive information about visits and interactions. CallRail can associate a call with the page or campaign that brought you to our website.

Some features connect to third parties. Our customer portal uses GorillaDesk. Forms use Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam and abuse. Playing an embedded YouTube video or using another third-party feature can cause your browser to contact that provider and share technical information such as your IP address and the page you visited.

You can limit or remove cookies through your browser settings and manage personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center and Meta ad preferences. Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on. These choices may be specific to the browser, device, or provider; blocking some technologies can affect website features. You can contact us to request that we stop using your information for our marketing or to ask about advertising-related sharing.

Learn more from Google’s explanation of partner-site data use, the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, the Meta Privacy Policy, the CallRail Privacy Policy, and the GorillaDesk Privacy Policy.

Retention and security

Information can remain in our website, customer, communication, and service-provider records. Retention depends on the purpose of the record, the customer relationship, service needs, and applicable recordkeeping, tax, dispute, and legal requirements. Contact us to ask about information we hold or to request deletion.

We use administrative and technical safeguards for information under our control. No website, storage system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use the customer portal or contact our team for instructions before sending sensitive information.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, to change communication preferences, or to ask us to stop using information for marketing or targeted advertising. Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have additional rights.

Email support@preferredpestmanagement.org with the subject “Privacy request,” call 214-978-3877, or write to the address below. Tell us which request you want to make and how to contact you. We may need enough information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. Please do not send government identification or other sensitive documents unless our team specifically explains a secure way to provide them.

Some information may need to be retained for service, security, recordkeeping, or legal reasons. If we decline a request, you can ask for the reason and request a review by replying to our response with “Privacy appeal.” We will consider requests under applicable law.

Children and other websites

This website is intended for people seeking pest-control services or employment, and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site, contact us so we can review and address it. Other websites and providers linked from our site have their own privacy practices; this policy describes Preferred Pest Management’s practices.
